how do i do that with the multimeter? and what would it sound like or would it even work at all if one of the coils are blown? because it works sometimes for maybe 1-5 minutes and then it would just die on me.

everythings is connected good. I opened up my sub box and checked the connections in there. I'm thinking it might be my head unit. How do I check that?
