    OK guys i got the dmm but haven't did the big 3 yet. so now what you i need to measure to see if anything is blown? and do i have to take the subs out and measure them or can i use the wires PS my setup is wired like this...

    Well honestly I never looked to see if the amp is cutting off, but after the subs cut off I fold down my seat and see that the amp is still on..could it cut off then cut back on this is a old amp it's discontinued on crutchfield

    Thx for the help... I will pick up the dmm today,what's reads am I looking for when I use it. So basically I should get the big 3? If that's the case I have and 05 impala and I know a forum for my car that's has info on getting the big 3 done if there are any other impala guys here check out...

    No I didn't pick it up yet And it's a 4 ohm load now I got my info on wiring from the rocksford fosgate wiring wizard. I have a alpine mrp 850(400rms) and 2 pioneer champion 10" 1000 max 350rms

    "the amp stays on" the gains are low as well as the bass eq. I turned the LP Filter up a little more than half
