im loving my cm3...

i just got mine CM3 yesterday. i'm giving it only 300-400 watts, and it calls for about 500. it sounds very **** nice. i have mine sealed, and you should port it if you want even more sound. definitely an SQ sub, but it does get pretty loud too. and two of them? that would be sweeeet.

thanks for the comments guys. i'm planning on hiding the wiring sometime this weekend, just need to fool with the amp settings a little bit more, and move my ground to the other side so that i can hide it. anyways, this thing sounds great, espically because im only giving it 300-400 watts, and...

what happened to your diamond cm3?

My first install really, built and carpeted the box myself, put in a Diamond Audio CM3, Crossfire VR 300D amp. Also have a Pioneer HU, and pioneer 3 ways. here are a couple of quick shots (kinda dark outside). and ****...my hands are crooked...

ok, disregarding the theft issue, do you think it would be alright just to put some dampening, like some thick foam tape, to absorb the vibrations?

why shouldnt i mount the amp on the box?

this was my first attempt at a box, and I have to admit I think it turned out really well. 1.2 cubed, and solid as a rock....Carpeting was also not as hard as I thought it would be. One recommendation would be to get the charcoal carpet, like i did, and not the black carpet, so that any excess...

Alright, I just finished building my first box, and so far im pretty proud of myself. But now comes the hard part (or so I think...): carpeting the box. The box I made is a simple cube. So how should I go about carpeting it? I want to make it as nice as possible .

alright thanks...i have a stupid question: how come i cant see any of the screws that were used to hold the sub in? it looks great without the screwheads showing... oh and btw, how big did you cut the hole for that sub? i need to get around to cutting my hole tomorrow...
