I would not put Fosgate amps in a BMW, I'd go with Helix or Audison dsp amps...

If you run a three-way active set in the front and a sub in the rear, look at the Audison APF8.9. You can use 6 of the 8 channels - one for each speaker in the front, then bridge the last two channels together for the Sub. Or you can run (2) sets of two-ways, the front active and the rear...

I opened these to try to find a reasonable mounting location in my vehicle, but could not. Up for sale is a brand new unused (NEVER SEEN POWER) pair of the top of the Audison/Hertz/Thesis speaker line! The Series II speakers are 4 ohm. I couldn't find a spot to mount these, so I'm selling...

My little 8" Sub is also rated at 300w and I'm pumping 260w (300 peaks) and it seemes under-driven (under-powered) so I'm going with 500W. If your Sub is rated at 300w, you should give in 500w, you can adjust the gain or volume accordingly...
