Thanks, that's what I figured. yeah, I always clean the plastic stuff and the **** tacky stuff off first. but, if that stuff(the sticky side of deadener) gets hot enough, can't it drip down the inside your door? Is there anything that you can put over the holes before you put down the deadener...

I've been around car audio for a while and always deaden my cars. However, I've never fully sound deadened a door(covering the holes). I've always left them open, but had the rest of the door covered. Is that ok, or should I cover them?
