I have not checked the drops with the dmm, but the lowest i've seen it drop is to 12.8 volts according to the capacitor readings. but i don't like to let it drop lower then 13. I'll take the cap out and see how that goes. Thanks for the input so far I appreciate it

ok so i checked the grounds all read .04 on a 200ohm scale which was the same as putting the 2 points of the DMM together. I don't know how old the battery is in my car i've had the car for a little over 6 months. Why's everybody so passionate on removing the cap, I know they don't hold much...

it's a sealed box for the sony's. I know the audiobahn's would outperform the sony's but they're rated at 1,000 rms a piece so i'm waiting to to gather a little bit of money so i can build or buy a decent single box. Or to get my alpine fixed
