yea the hotwire is hooked up and the rca's are ran as well. We got a scoche wiring adapter installed so there wasn't any cutting involved, just pluged into the stock and off we went.

My friend and I are trying to wire a new head unit into his 1999 olds alero. Everything is wired in, HU powers on everything works other than the Hitwire to the amp. The amp has power and is grounded correctly but the radio isn't sending a signal to the amp. Any feedback would be awesome! Thanks!

yea i'll give it a shot. I bought the 2 year warranty for it and I took it back tonight because my father in law was having the same issue with another amp and it turned out to be bad. I got the new one in and still same issue. The only other thing I can think of is the tensioner being shot for...
