if i remeber correctly the amp is on the passenger side in the rear. remove the panel in the rear passenger area. it is not in plain view it is hidden behind the metal subframe. take the input and output wires out of the amp and use the bypass plug to connect them good luck

he is right in what he suggested. here is another idea upgrade the ground wire from your battery to the frame of the car. if you are using amps try using the seat belt bolt as a ground. when hearing the noise of pop use the balance to go left and right to see if it is coming from both sides
