Hello to all..... I need all the help that I can get about 10" subs. My main Priority is SQ, I'm considering Alpine, Memphis,Infinity, JL & Audiobahn. I'ts going into a small car so box size is a concern. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.......... THANKS.

One of the things I liked about alpine was the V-drive. But there are two things that I'm questioning about running two amps (the V-drive & a sub amp) and those are my battery and altenator. It might be better to only hook up one amp to run the speakers & the sub. Any thoughts please...

I'm finding it to be a tough choice, because alpine has features I really like, but I liked eclipses sound a little better. Thanks for the info.....

Hello to all who read this. I"m in need of a 10" sub. I have a small car so a small enclosure is prefferable!!!!! I went to two local stereo shops. The first guy said the Alpine type S 1041D would be best choice.$139 + box and install. The second guy said the jl 10w0 $90 + box and install...

You are right about MP3's, I don't have any need for them at this time. All I'm looking for is sound quality & durability. I have a small car, so skipping is a concern!! Any problems with Eclipse??? Thanks for replies.....
