And for any Crosstrek drivers, the 3.5s required modification to fit in the dash casings. If you do a search on the Sony on Crutchfield it says it is incompatible for this reason, and it required modification to make then fit.

It was difficult to find a flush mounting spot for the tweeters due to the curvature of the interior design. The amp is screwed into the 40 side split of the 60/40 rear seat, and its all measured out so if I need the 4th seat I can lift the seat to an upright position without hitting the sub.

Oh and it sounds great. It can pump well more bass then I prefer personally, has a cool bass knob to adjust without having to navigate to the EQ. Even when bass is very loud, the mids and highs are not distorted and clear. It's really just the kind of upgrade i was looking for, with more bass...

Seems to me that South of Heaven is an album I've ways thought of as a production standard mix-wise. It's not Slayers best album of songs, but I like the mix the best. I cant wait to hear Dave Lombardos drums coming through a good system.
