Ah.. See I was under the impression the RMS was still accurate since the peak is what is advertised. Those definitely won't be worth it since the it's not much of a step up. I believe the speakers can handle up to 75-79 RMS so I'd like to give them a decent amount of power. Used is fine.. if...

Worst than the head unit alone? I've heard several people say the alpine power pack greatly increased the sound with the speakers, I would imagine that is on par with these amps listed?

I'd prefer not to. Not trying to build the "best" just trying to get my speakers to where they will not distort under louder volume.
