thanks guys....i'm wired @ 1.33333 ohms my amp is stable to 1 ohm.....and it only does it if i use the left rca jack i am running it on the right rca jack now and it sounds ok but would i need to use the left and the right simultainiously ?....will i damage my amp if i only use one?.....will it...

it could either be you'r rca cables or the rca imputs on the amp......try 1 rca at a time to see if it clips....or change them completly.......if thats not the problem make sure the speakers are not wired lower than 2 ohms...

i have a clipping problem......if a deep bass note hits my amp goes into over current...i have to shut my radio off to reset it.....now i troubleshooted it and found my left rca imput is the problem....if i leave it out and only run the right rca everything is fine...now i wanted to know is this...

not true i own a sony xm2252-hx and it pushes 1200w @1ohm all day on my 3 10'' sony p5's........but most of thier amps aren't stable to 1ohm...

clarion is just like entery level... pioneer, sony,and jbl...they are ok nothing....nothing....compared to ads...but they are just fine for running high's

well you can wire them either in 2ohms or 8ohms thats mono x1 so either you run 2 channels stereo @ 4ohms w/200 watts to each sub....or you can run 1 sub at 500 watts mono x1....or you can buy another sony amp(same model) and run each sub mono x1 on each amp.....or you could just buy a 2ohm mono...

i would go with aura.....i have seen alot of profile amps smoke...but the california series are better than the baja series.....haven't seen alot of aura's in action but the few i did..did thier job...plus if you had experience with aura and liked them you should be confident in future use...
