I went out this morning to look and I noticed when I got it to volume 7 the amp power light would turn off but it didn't go into protect mode any ideas?

Could it be caused by a loose connection? It was fine earlier then on my way home it did it

I have a problem here I have 4 aftermarket speakers with a amp I was driving home tonight and I turned my head unit to about 7 and it start making the music sound terrible so I turned it down to 0 and u could here this buzzing sound coming from my speakers so I ejected the cd and everything went...
