i should of been working on the ground loop but i was locked on the fading situation.
so i doubled check with my friend that did the wiring, and he told me that on day 1 and 2, the fader was working right. at this point in the game, i think something in the mtx reQ5 is messed up. i say it is...
since everyone is hating on the cap, i will remove that from my system.
i wish i kinda figured this out earlier, since i have 4 6x8 and 2 6x9. but screw it, ill keep mine, they are installed already...

Yeah, my line out converter is a MTX ReQ5. I have 6 channels RCA hooked up to that, going to my 2 amps. there the Speaker wires are now being fed to the same spot that i cut wires for the ReQ5. the amp speaker wires are connected to the wire on the other side of the cut for the ReQ5. from...

I'm not trying be a **** but I just don't know what earth points are. Ground?? If so, then what would you recommend? 1 wire from each amp to ground, making it a total of two grounds OR pulling the two amps to 1 distro block then grounding a single wire?
1) so all i need to do is take my volt meter and stick 1 side on the HU chassis and then the other ( either neg or pos) to the RCA? and i should get a reading?
2) Does this mean that i will need to connect a wire from the chassis of the HU to the output of RCA, in my case the MTX ReQ5? My two...
1) i will think about the cap
2) Doing the Big this is in the future, But with only 4 gauge wires. It is hard getting my hands fit in the area of the Alt for the pos. line.
3) my Power wires are on the drive side and the rca is on the right side, but from the rear seat, it starts getting...
