Well, I saw Mr. there , go figure.

I know enough that if he increase the size of the enclosure for 2 - 4" dia x 15.5" @ 30Hz, the subwoofer won't have to work as hard to move the air volume required to hit as hard or sound as loud as it wants it to without losing output.

Well, if you want a compact enclosure, you sure as he!! don't want a bandpass, a bandpass enclosure requires more volume than a sealed or ported enclosure.

By my calculations for that enclosure, the net vol is 2.144 cu.ft and that port size tunes the port to 49.31 hz.

It is small for that subwoofer, if you crank the he!! outta that sub, your going to get port noise out the wahzoo. Just givin ya heads up. Phil Woodlawn Cabinetry
