Do EQ's and/or Sound Processors actually do that much. I just have a palin system at the moment, but looking to boost SQ and mainly SPL up.
Thanks to anyone who can help
I got a 15" Impulse, which I'm sure is appox. a 2000 model.
As far as i know they are 300 WRMS, 600 W max.
I could be wrong as I bought mine secondhand with nothing.
I was sondering can you run multiple amps in the one sub, or voice coil, or one on each coil or something like that?
Say if the sub was something like 5000 WRMS, how could you power it?
Thanks in advance
I've heard it is 1000 max, which sounds right, (500 RMS).
For you, you could get either one 3 farad, or 3 one farads (or a combination), which evers cheaper and easier.
Of course it never hurts to go over that amount

I would have to say the MA Audio Hard Core sub
simply because it can handle 5000 WRMS!
I am seriously thinking of getting one for the hell of it!
MTX RFL 152 aint a bad sub either at 2000 WRMS
When your amp is running at 2 ohms, instead to 4 ohms, your THD is said to double, but you also get twice as much power. THD is not always double, but it is always pretty close to it.
I have a large car (94 Holden Commodore, probably the equivilant to a same model Chevvy family sedan)
And I currenty have two 15" subs, would 12"s go better or louder, or not?
Thanks
I have 2 Kicker Impulse 15" subs inside two small sealed boxes (approx 16x16x13") and I've seen this dampning stuff inside boxes.
Does anyone know if its any good, will it give me more SPL or SQ.
I'm after SPL, thanks to anyone who can help!
