you could have the best equipment in the world but it all comes down to the install and what you want it to do. for spl I turn the gains up full on my amps, for daily driving I have the gains set at 3/4. But sounds like you have a good set up, you might want to lookin into powering your mids...

I have 1 15, 2 1500 watt class d amps both running at 1ohm, going threw a PG Line driver, and a MTX cross over.

I need help building a wall in a car, does anyone know where I can find tutorials on wall building?

I figure someone out there would have tested it at 1ohm, sure they may say not 1 ohm stable but I've been running 2of them at 1 ohm for months now, and no problems.

still have no idea of what they put out at 1 ohm tho, all I know is my sub loves the memphis power, and my volts drop down to 8.6 with the gains at half while driving around.

I am running 2 of the memphis 1500d's at 1ohm, haven't had any problems other than a blowen altenator.

Actually the 9900 series comes in 10, 12, 15, and 17 inch drivers. 1) 9500 2) w7 3) xxx 4) brhama 5) kicker L7's

could be port noise, air moving threw the screw holes where the sub is mounted, or maybe a torn Voicecoil.

I've hurd most of thoes and I am still a HUGE fan of DD9500 haven't hurd the 9900's but I think I will order one for this season.
