I have heard some ok results with dash mounted tweeters but it depends on the tweeter itself, those that play lower will always work out better in this position.

But your not including the volume inside your door and the boxes you built don't have backs from what I can see. Like your new glovebox though

Why not make a shallower enclosure or pod vented into the door, be much neater

If you still want to keep some speakers in the back why not snip the wire feeding the tweeter and just use them for some low fill, the lack of the highs will stop your sound being pulled back but your passengers will still at least have something to dance to

This is correct, I didn't read the list properly the V2s are the more lively set, the Vrs are the upgraded ones and they do sound much more balanced. Do you mean the VRs cos if you do I have a brand new set I don't want, be willing to sell them on for a reasonable price

As I prefer SQ to SPL I always use class A/B s rather than a Monoblock amp as they usually have better THD and damping and I don't need a ton of power to run a single sub for SPL though I would go Monoblock.

Have only heard the Focals from that list and if you want a laid back sound and you listen to metal I would leave the focals out. Sorry can't speak for the rest.

I have had a W6 and W7 but the Morel Ultimo sounds sooo much nicer than both of those, unbelievable accuracy . The W6 was a lot more efficient at producing volume but for SQ and nothing more I am sticking with my ultimo, can't see me changing it for a very long time.
