I will try that, thanks Both L+R RCA's are being used, plugged in, and receiving signal. I have yet to test how strong that signal from the HU is. I have an Oscilloscope, I may try using that to analyse the signal.

Yea my Pioneer has a Sub/Rear preout. The settings to control it also work in conjunction with the high level outputs of the radio itself. I did voltage drops and resistance checks on my grounds and power feed. They are checking out ok. Thats the thing that bugs me about this. Out of all my installs over the years, never once Did I have such a problem with getting output. Usually its always been ****** RCA's, grounding issue, etc...

I swapped the headunit with a cheap boss head unit I had, it made no difference. A friend of mine let me borrow his amp. Its a little more powerful Alpine MRD M1005. The gain didnt have to be turned as high as the MTX but it was still at 0.3v setting for sensitivity. Its working pretty good now...
