I was a garbage man for about a year. Found all kinds of stuff. Xbox360, Ps4, laptops, amps etc... And this was in a small town. I'm sure in a larger, wealthier city people throw away a lot of decent stuff. I didn't "dig through the garbage". Most of the time if someone was throwing away...

@adulbrich. good to see you got better use out of them. Now instead of trying to swap everything out, just get the proper recones and you should be good to go!

If the enclosure is within spec and the amp is set correctly, not much else you can do without trying new enclosures and placement. Give them a few weeks and they might loosen up and be louder.

Sorry you got butthurt in your for sale thread. But it's common sense that when you're trying to sale something for $3,000+ that you should disclose every detail possible. I'd be highly pissed if I bought a sub for any amount and found out later the coil wasn't even right for the sub. If I paid...
