Almost, he linked the dual coil version, i linked the single coil one. Maybe i'm wrong.. as far as i understand the dual coil is mainly cool because of wiring options not really for sound quality?

Nice, i think i'll go with this one JBL GT5-12 12" Single 4 ohm GT Series 1100W Car Subwoofer Seems to fit my amp and not expensive. Any reason why i should not? I will use it at low volume most of the time. It's just that it really ***** without a sub when you have your midrange speakers...

That's overkill for me, as you said 300w rms will kick enough, i only need about 300w because i want to match the amplifier i already have. Also i'm in Canada, i was hoping around 100$ USD or 150$ CAD...
