I would get 2 SE's, both DVC 4ohms and run em parallel/parallel to a 1ohm load. This being the case check out these amps: Hifonics Brutus 1500 Kicker 1200.1 Orion 1200d something along those lines..

You would have to get the DVC 4ohm models and wire them parallel/parallel to a 1ohm load. There is no difference performance wise from a DVC 4ohm to a DVC 2ohm, provided that they are the same model and same size.

First of all 3cuft ported to a L5 15" is just not enough to get it to really pound. Also if you've got your gains set right 1200watts to an L7 15" is just fine, should be able handle it nicely. Personally I would stick w/the L7 15", or get two L7 12's and through em 3cuft a piece...

If I were you I'd go with a 13w7 ported in about 3-3.5cuft. Feed it anywhere from 1000-1500 daily, and you'll be more than happy.

Even if that amp put out 1800watts like it says or even more for that matter, I wouldn't worry about blowing the XXX unless you have the gains WAY WAY up. I run 2200-2400watts to my XXX daily which it handles no problem. Most people will tell you 1500-1800watts will push it enough, which is...

I paid $620 for my Viper2500d off Ebay, and I also bought an Ebay 1yr extended warranty which was $60... Very very high quality product. You can probably get an MA Audio amp that suposedly puts out 3000watts+ for around or under $600 on Ebay...

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but he is talking about SQL subs, not straight up SPL cause I personally wouldn't wanna use a DD9917, RE MT, or Team RF for daily... that's just me...

I've actually tested an H2 15". A few boxes (all ported) and at a couple different amounts of wattage. It did very well in 3.5cuft ported, however doesn't like big boxes (anything over 4cuft). I ran upto 2500watts, which is it's peak and rightfully so, I didn't feel as it could handle too much...

The W7 is far superior to the others in both SQ and SPL (except maybe Orion HCCA for SPL, never used/heard one), and the Audiobahn is by far the worst, especially in SQ..
