No...if someone comes in sayin they want a kick *** setup and listen to rock ima put in 2 bad *** 10s and itll sound tight and hit hard on every bass drum hit and still carry the guitar tones pefectly...rap or whatever else...maybe some 12s or 15s that get lower and give em a more boomin...

Actually no....and i apologize...i edited that and still missed that....i meant to say under 20-40 for HaTebreed (just as an example)...why i also mentioned just to tune it to what you listen to...i set up my customers cars differently if they listen to rap on a daily basis than if they listen...

You guys are telling someone who started out saying he is new to this ****...doesn't have a ton of experience to break out Oscopes and talking about box Q and All kinds of technical ****....this is a really easy way to get your system to sound good without going crazy....what the hell does...

And YES....turn off the loudness!! and set the levels using the type of music you prefer...don't really need a bass tone generator to setup an everyday listener....like putting in an engine management system and dyno testing your moms caravan ya know...keep it simple and you'll be much happier...
