this was recently happened with my headunit(alpine) .. if id go over a certain volume it would cut out and come up with an error .. so i looked in the manual and it said" Malfunction occured as a result of the speaker cable shorting on the car chassis"..... so i found my problem and it wound up...

im not really getting into that fiberglassing and all that type of stuff.. for now i will be running the speakers off the head unit but i plan on amping it in the future.... my question is should i go with 2 5X7's in the front and 2 6X9's in the rear....ooooorrrrr..... should i go with 6X9's all...

ok so your saying dont bother putting them in the doors?... would i be better off cutting holes and putting them in the rear deck?.. and no one answered my size question

so your saying what?..... just get 2 speakers .. why would i do that .. usually someone would want 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers
