I'll have to disagree about the sound they are hooked up and sound rediculously awesome many people shocked at the sq and the spl . However i am looking to increse spl. They sound good and the way i set up the boxes you dont even see the 8's but when they are shown no more questions are asked...

o.k. so knowing my boxes can or should i add ports and how long? do i make em as long as possible and back off the wall an inch or should i give more room?

I am running 2 8" mtx XS terminators with a 250 watt alpine " " " " 10" ROKS punck XLC with a n 800 watt mono pioneer 8'2 are in a .50^3 10's are injust over a foot ^3 this is for each woofer and the box is devided but they are both seale enclosures of 3/4" mdf

is it better to build a box based on manufacturer info,or is a bigger box bigger sound ? Also how do you know what is too big? What's the limits?

dunno says 4v/pre amp yada yada .lol

ok can some one please explain the meaning of pre amp hook ups and the difference between them and rca hook ups . also can you hook up amps to them or are they amped and no more juice suggested?
