    its def the head unit i have. so all i'd have to do is run the RCA's off my head unit into the amp on the opposite side of the power cable to the amp?

    my head unit is a JVC KD-PDR-80 (i think). I have yet to buy an amp, but i have a buddy who is willing to sell me his old one for cheap.

    hey, i'm a huge noob to sound systems (and to the forum, sorry if this is in the wrong place) but i wanna learn. starting off with running subs in my civic. my head unit puts out around 50 watts. can i just run the signal directly into my amp? if not, what will i have to do? Cheers!
