Thanks, those baffles look promising. but wont they 'choke' my speakers?

Alright thanks! My new speakers came in today, will be installing them in the doors this weekend and hopefully they will sound great. If not I'll probably play around with putting them in different places.

I think that mounting location might be the biggest issue now that i think about it. Everything sounded better if i moved my head closer to the speakers. My crossover was fine to my ears. sub LPF 80hz -18db and my speakers HPF 80hz - 12db. The issue were mainly the mids around 300-500hz.

Thanks for your response! Hm, could rockwool do the trick maybe? i have a bunch laying around. it's mostly used for insulation but i've read it's also pretty good for sound dampening.
