yeah i wanna have room in my trunk still for random stuff so ported probably isnt an option for my case. yeah, the backseats go down, but even then they're just okay. i'm thinking deadening would help.. but i don't think it'd be a night and day difference.

yeah they're brand new and they're rear-firing. it's just weird because the trunk is rattling and the roof flexes quite a bit, but inside the cabin the bass isn't as loud. i'd rather have it the other way around.

Hey guys, I just put some 10" SE's in my 1998 2dr Accord. They're in .65 sealed each and powered by a Crossfire XP1000D, 1000 x 1 @ 1ohm. I set the gain by ear. When everything was done, I had a listen, and it just wasn't loud. It's weird because the roof is flexing and the subs are moving a lot...

Yeah, it took me a while to get them set up (longer than it should to set up a power and ground distro. block), but they work well for me. Not really a fan of the design either though.

i'm gonna reground my battery, is the wheel well a good place to ground the battery to the chassis? i was also thinking about grounding the engine block to the wheel well. this is in a sedan by the way.

right now i am running 1/0 kollosus kable to a distribution block, and 4 gauge about 2 ft. away to my MD2 and 8 gauge (about a foot) to my other amp. i was wondering if simply running 1/0 to the MD2 and upgrading the ground to 1/0 would help anything? i.e. more power to the amp, audible or not...

For the 860mp, I know in network you can use crossover slopes up to 24 for the mids, lows, and highs. I was wondering if I can use these crossovers and the HU in network even though I am only running a passive 2-way component setup and a substage.

Is the 880PRS a better deck overall? How much SQ does it have over the 860mp?

so today i reset my gains using test tones and a multimeter. i noticed that with different attentuated tones, the lower it is, (-3 db, -6db would be "lower"), the less voltage you get meaning you turn your gain up a tad bit more. also for the frequencies, i tried setting it at 50hz to 38.xx, and...
