    Is it normal for an amp to get too hot to touch?

    Run a 12volt fan on it, I did the same on my Memphis St Series amps, I live south Florida and it's hot everyday. A fan will help Big time.

    Buy a Optima red top or yellow for front battery and get a shrukien 950 amp battery for the amp. I have a nasty set-up and and blast my system and never have any light dimming problems.
