Replying here to update information I've received from SD. Optimal box air space before installing the sub is ~0.62 ft^3. Approx .12 displacement.

CSCStang is going to build me a box, pretty excited. Fwiw, Jacob from SD just emailed me back, before displacement, the box should be ~ 0.62 ft^3.

Bingo. It would be my ultimate preference if only the people in my car knew I had a Sub. I don't want to shake and rattle anything. I just want to be immersed in good sound. =D

Hello all, I recently purchased an SD-3 10 for my Ford F-150 Supercrew. I've been searching the webs for the "perfect" enclosure, but they are either too big, too ugly, or ported (or crap). Curious what others have done with the SD-3 10s that might help me narrow down my search. Thanks!
