Did you have a factory stereo upgrade and just change out the head unit (JBL) or did you just change out the head unit, new speakers ext...?

Has anyone had any experience with this head unit? If so how do you like it, pro's/con's. looks like it has everything im looking for but what other accessories will i need to get everything working, such as HD radio, XM sat radio, Steering wheel interface controls.

I have a 2013 4 door Double Cab not the access cab so the Downfire box is not going to work for my Vehicle. Ive looked and the only options i see i have are the stealthboxes or some sort of shallow mounted sub in a custom box behind the rear seats.

What are you thinking? I'm set on the Alpine HU so need to start from there, I'm pretty new to car audio so I am not set on JL Audio if i can find a better or equal SQ set up. I put JL Audio up there assuming they were the best or one of the best out there. I have to think there is cheaper...
