Dirtidan, just because everyone is doing doesn't mean it's always the best. Etac hits it dead on. I have also found that the front staging seams off (not horizontal) when you move to far away from the mid-bass. Take your time and do what sounds good for you.

First Post!!! Looking for the best heat shield for the roof. This car is in sunny Florida and I already cooked one Preamp unit that is mounted above headliner. Not installing it replacement until I can be sure it's protected. This is My first car not deadened..... will be soon! Always used DM...
