If you don't need a ton of bass why not get rid of one of the IDQs and run the other? One IDQ12 should give you a nice thump and be able to do it in a smaller box.

I have the Kappa 652.5i and I'm not overly impressed with them. Their low end stinks, but that may very well be the fault of the install. I also would prefer a softer high, I wish I had gone with a silk tweeter. I think they'd sound a lot better in kick panels if you have that option.

Can't comment on the difference between the oval and round speakers, however I have the Kappa 6.75s with 75W going to them. They get plenty loud, but I'm a little disappointed in the harshness of the highs and the lack of lows. I can probably attribute the lack of low end to the install, but I...
