Ive kinda noticed that too...and i understand that people want to leave room for upgrades...but my truck wasnt designed for acoustics, and so far, the pioneers are doing fine. Plasic door panels and dash and all rattle pretty bad as is.
I am going to be running power to my 4 Pioneer TS-A6880R's from an Alpine MRP-F240 (4 x 40w RMS). Will 18 guage speaker wire do ok??? I had posted another thread before and someone suggested running 16 guage. To me 16 guage seemed to be overkill...maybe im wrong...let me know.
yeah...my vehicle is a 97 F-150 extended cab....but its only got the 3rd door on the passenger side...and the drivers sire rear panel is a pain to get out...since there isnt a door there...thats the only reason i was trying to avoid it.
Im glad to hear you say that that is a perfect match (4 Pioneer TS-A6880R's + Alpine MRP-F240) cause im about run the same set up...when I finally get the amp paid off.
Im getting a 4 channel alpine amp (MRP-F240) and hooking it up to my Pioneer TS-A6880R's. My friend suggested running the speaker wire from the amp to the original factory speaker wires behind the HU just to make things easier......is this ok or should i go ahead and replace all the speaker wire?
