I always use the largest size wire the amp will accept. I also use a fresh stripped piece, and it definitely helps, but still quite tedious to try to get all the strands to go in straight. I'll try the tinning idea next time. Any other tips/techniques to save time in the future?

Is there an easy way to get all the strands of the wire neatly into the amp terminal? I"m talking about the amps that accept bare wire connections, getting the wire into the hole without mushing it is driving me crazy.

I'm running a SE12 in a ported box (as per their site, 2.0 @ 33hz). It's powered by a PG x600.1 and I have PG RSD's in the front. I have the sub amp crossed at about 80hz and my fronts the same. The problem is that the sub output seems to be nonexistent above 50hz or so, leaving out bass notes...
