I'm hoping to hear some positive feedback. They are the V2 Polyglass series. w/o mods or pods....they might be my only solution if I want a quality set up in my doors.

I've been checking out Focal 6.5 comps for the doors of my 99 Tacoma. I wanted the 165 V2's...but they won't fit w/o mods (too deep). I see they have the Focal 165V Slim's which only require about 2 inches to mount. Has anyone heard these or had any experience with them? Thanks!!

I've got an old (97-98) Fosgate 10" DVC (like new). I don't have any of the specs and can't seem to find them anywhere. I need to find out what sq. ft. of air space for a sealed box. I had the sub in a band bypass previously, but want to go sealed for a little tighter bass and a little smaller...

I think I'll go with the Focal 165 V2's for now. It's amazing the mark up on these at the local stereo shops around here. Most places locally want well over $400. I guess I'll be bidding on ebay....lol. Thanks to all for the feedback!!!

I have 6.5 Comps narrowed down to 4. Could I please get some feedback on these with some pros and cons. 1) Focal 165 V1 or V2 2) Diamond Audio D661s 3) Crystal Mobile SSCS6 4) Infinity Perfect 6.1 Thanks for any help making this tuff choice.

I agree, I don't think I would buy new Fosgate....but the old stuff rocks, both the 45 and 150 were bought in the late 80's and early 90's. Thanks!!

Thanks!!! Like I said, I'm an old school guy and just dug out my "old" stuff to re-install. Punch 45, Punch 150, Alpine 7930, MB Quart Components, 10" Punch DVC....yada..yada. This setup may not be the new flash, but it worked and sounded very good in my old truck.

Thanks ICE!! Just the info I was looking for. When I bought the Alpine back in the mid 90's that was a selling point the sales guy was pushing on me was the preamp voltage.

Newbie here looking for advise. I'm getting ready to install an older (good) system in my truck. I have an older Alpine head unit (CDA 7930) and a newer Sony Head Unit (CDX GT400). The newer Sony has all the bells and whistles, but the preamp voltage is only 2 and the older Alpine has 4 volts...
