I ended up mounting it on my sub box next to my amp. Do you guys advise just cutting the stock wires to tune the sub? Or how do you go about tuning it and not blowing the door speakers?

Would I be better off mounting it near my headunit or tapping it at the headunit where the old one is and running speaker wires to be back??? I would then probably use distribution blocks to power it.

So my LC2i is going to be delivered tomorrow. I'm pretty excited! Currently my LOC is located behind my headunit. Do you guys recommend keeping it there or moving it? Also, do I setup the LC2i before going through the procedure of setting the gain on my sub? Any help would be much appreciated!

Yeah I know I am. Do you know of any aftermarket head units that work with factory Bluetooth? This is the first car I've had without an aftermarket head unit. I'd love to upgrade but don't want to lose functionality in my car.

Haha no I'm using the stock VW Premium 8 headunit. I'd love to upgrade it but I don't want to lose Bluetooth and navi.

Yeah I left the LPF up last night so I'll do the tuning over again. The only issue I'm running into is that my stock speakers play the 50hz tone when I'm tuning and I don't want to blow them. The LOC is connected behind the radio and if I unplug them then the LOC doesn't have a signal.

So I tuned my sub and to get 31v gain is at 1/4 and it bumps more than ever. The installer had it at over half 3 years ago when I had it put in and it was never this loud.
