Sounds like you might be overdriving the inputs of the sub amp. Try lowering the gains a bit on the amp...or decreasing the input voltage going into the amp. If the amp has a selectable input voltage control...try the higher setting. This is a common problem when using line drivers with some...

Well, if you're going to drop that kinda cash...why not consider Helix, Genesis Dual Mono's, MB Quart Q-Series and Zapco C2K 6.0 30th Anniversary Series .? All those would be my consideration before the Audison LRx series. Now when you move up to the Audison VRx line, then you're a bit more...

I think you get the idea. While they are great amps...they are most often chosen for their nice "warm, smooth" sound...at least that is what I like about them. I've had the LRx 4.300 and still own the LRx 2.500. In my opinion, you can get just as good for "way less". Some that come to mind....MB...

Cannot bridge the rear channels of the Audison LRX4.300...(if you thinking of doing that..).

One PCX2200 on each sub is perfect. The 12db slope on the amp is fine also...if you need steeper..use your hu's crossover..(or your processor). Man...you have the ideal sub set-up! I also have a 180 amp high-output alternator that I have not installed yet...how does your's handle all that...
