chinsik, If you are running that amp bridged to an rf he 10", then i think your pushing too much power into it.. it is only rated at 400 watts peak (200 rms) which means ur pushing it with 400 watts rms... 200 more watts then its rated. i have that amp pyushing 2 rf he's. good luck

ford's stock speaker sizes are usually 5x7's sometimes 6x8's... I would get 5 1/4 components for him.... you can get a plate that replaces the 5x7 plate.. it is the same size plate as the 5x7's but it has a hole cut for 5 1/4.. good luck -LuRp

yeah.. i think the bottle neck in ur seystem is the sony 5 1/4's... I would go with infinity perfect 6.1's (or 5.1's) for the front in kicks, and take the 60.3cs and put them in the back. I have the 5.1's and they are amazing. Got them for 265 off ebay. and yes... Mixing subs is a really bad...

stay away from polk.. and yes they are deff 5x7's... Just bought a pair of kappas 5x7 (infinity if u dont know) to complement my 5.1's in the front.. they are great... got them new for 65 bucks on ebay.. just like budget said.. you need to set a hp filter...
