seems to me that all that duct tape(on top of looking fugly) is mainly used after the fact that the whole thing was not sealed up properly by any other means to begin with.... i dont think all that mess is necessary;) if done right from the start

by the way, (solobaric experts) how critical is the .33 per 8" that kicker recommends? what would happen if it was in something a little bigger like .5? would it sound like *** or would i just gain a little efficiency & lose some power handling? i dont want to sacrifice the sound quality so...

it definately would be sealed(i dont think they recommend ported). im sure ported has been done with the help of a subsonic filter, but i think ill be going with sealed. so how much would two small .33 boxes or one .66 box cost me from someone on this forum? i would definately want at least 3/4...
