Check your subs if you havent yet, and see if all the wires are in tact. Check your amp wires as well, possibly your ground or power connections could be comming off- check at the batt terminals too.... ...

PPI dcx 1500.1 refurb for 400$ at a local shop.... Are these amps any good? and then again it being a refurb, should I pass on it and get the sundown 1500... Anyone have any experiences on this amp

ID DO IT, IM SURE IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS...I NEVER MESSED WITH LINE DRIVES CAUSE OF THE POWER WIRE AND NO ROOM FOR THE BOX, SO ILL NEVER KNOW EXCATLY HOW GOOD THEY ARE. ID TRY IT IF YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK, THATS A CHEAP PRICE AND I ALSO HAVE 4 VOLT PRE OUTS AS WELL.I MIGHT MESS WITH IT...

Go with the sundown man!!!! It seems best to your setup and I hear they pound subs out... If I was you, id keep your amp you have now, theres no reason to get rid of it, you have a beast of a amp...Just build around your amp you have now...

If your head unit is causing the distortion, then thats what I would replace in hearbeat. I am not sure if I agree on your amp replacement ...
