who makes trim rings to go around my beat subwoofers? i know memphis subs have that slick surround- but they also have memphis printed on them. i need something generic just to clean up my ratty mounting trim.

im not looking for spl, im after quality, and just to add rounded edges to the sound my stock headunit puts out. if that was my mission, id just drop some 15s in and call it a day- been there, done that- to a lesser extent than most of you have im sure.

okay i picked up a nakamichi 10" dvc. reading the specs it says 'equivalent acoustic volume : 41.8 liters.' is this the size of box required? converts to 1.4 cubic ft and also, what constitutes mounting a sub inverted? ie the magnet facing outwards- is this some sort of sealed/bandpass hybrid...

if i wire this sub like that pic, and its rated as a 6ohm, that will drop it to 3 correct? amps arent measured in odd numbers as ive seen, so i guess that that is the max load for the speaker- leaving me with a 4 ohm mono amp rated at 600 x 1 @ 4 ohm. am i right or not?
