    No remote adjustment?

Actually, I think I had the adjustment knob turned down while I was setting gain! Rookie mistake

    No remote adjustment?

Finally had the time to set the gain. I was shooting for 33.17 V and had to turn the gain to the max to get around 33.1. Guess that’s as close as I can get! Thanks

    No remote adjustment?

Ok so I turned the level up quite a bit and it sounds much better. (I know its not a volume knob, but it's working for the time being until everything is fixed). I retried installing my regular cheap amazon in line adjustment knob and it worked great! I switched the RCA cable between the radio...

    No remote adjustment?

I don’t mean to come off rude, but what would hooking the amp up to my phone prove? Because I know the amp and sub are functional. Also, ikpthegame was right, turning the bass boost knob did give me more volume. Thanks for your help, I guess I’ll just turn that up until it sounds worse!

    No remote adjustment?

I apologize, I think I was unclear. I connected RCA cables from the radio into the "input" side of the adjustment knob. I connected RCA cables from the "output" side of the adjustment knob into the "input" side of the amp. Later today, I can try changing the low pass and seeing if that helps...

    No remote adjustment?

I have the bass boost set to 0, low pass set to about 300, level is set to 4V because it is a Boss BE62CP which outputs 4v, and subsonic set to about 25 hz. Thanks

    No remote adjustment?

So I tried two different adjustment knobs and neither did anything. I bought an inline adjuster instead. I plugged a short RCA cable into the radio and into the input side of the knob, and plugged in the RCA cables that lead to the amp into the output side. At full adjustment the sub barely...

    No remote adjustment?

Hi all. I recently bought a used Jensen Power 900.1 amp. I wired it to a 24 year old 12" MTX 250 watt 4 ohm sub. The main issue is that the remote adjustment knob doesn't adjust anything. When I plug that wire into the amp, its a bit loose but even when I push it in it does nothing. Secondly...

    Amp not working Advice

Hi all, I am still fairly new to car audio, so I figured I'd come to the experts. I have a boss head unit and a sound ordanence 8" powered sub that work great. I recently picked up a mtx 12" sub that is 24 years old, and a bazooka ela500.1. I wired it the same as my powered subwoofer, and used...

    Broken Subwoofer Help

I will update you guys once I figure it out. I’ve had it wired this way for over a year so I’m not sure. It drove fine for 30 min then clunked out when I tried to take off at an intersection. Pretty crazy

    Broken Subwoofer Help

Interesting update: my car broke down because of my radio. My mechanic isn’t sure why, but when he removed the radio, it ran and drove fine. I’m going to drive it without the radio for the rest of the week and look into an audio shop this weekend. This is above my pay grade
