I pulled my volt meter out, and I'm getting 14 volts at the battery, and from the wire to the fuse from the battery. from the fuse to the amp, I'm only getting 8

my amp is getting full power, everything is grounded well, wires are good, as far as i know, subs are receiving signal, but the amp isn't putting out any power. It makes a clicking sound and my remote knob power light fades in and out. any suggestions?

I have a 2008 accord, running an aftermarket head unit, hifonics amp, and 2 subs. About a week ago i was riding down the road after turning the amp up, possibly too high, and my subs quit working. Sometimes they work, most times, not. I'm not getting full voltage to my remote wire and i've tried...
