SOLD 12" SI Mag D2 and Hifonics BXi608D amp

Nuff said. Both are in excellent condition. $100 shipped for the amp. $150 shipped for the sub. Grab 'em before I change my mind and snap out of this stupidity that tells me it's a good idea to let them go.

    Comparing 1/0 to 4/0.

The 1/0 welding wire used wasn't that hard to run at all. The hardest thing is cutting it. I ended up borrowing a pair of bolt cutters to use during the install.

My amp is makeing a whineing sound??

You're sure it's the amp and not alternator whine

4 21" IA subs in escalade

Well, if you don't want to lose the 2cd seat, then 4 21's sure as hell ain't gonna fit! 4 15's may be possible, but it's still be really, really tight. You're probably better off with 4 12's or 3 15's.

4 21" IA subs in escalade

I don't know. It's going to be tight as hell if they do. Figure out how many cubes per sub you'd need to run, then calculate port space and see if the figures work out. I'm thinking you'd probably have to ditch the second seat to make it work. An Escalade 2 seater? Haha!

    Head unit guru's, Help appreciated.

I'd love to hear that "system" with you cranking the bass boost on those crappy speakers... Haha!

    kenwood excelon x493

I thought that's what you were trying to get away from? So, you're going to get a pair of nice subs, pair them with a pretty decent amp, then run them with some cheap 6.5s and 6x9s?

    kenwood excelon x493

I think he was referring to the fact that you're running a pair of craptastic 6x9s at the moment. The pre-outs will help once you get some amps to plug into them ! I've been a user of the Excelon headunits for years. I'm currently running the x592. They're good units and I like the sleek...

    Monster speaker wire

I didn't notice the skin, but the insulation they use is just horrible. It's stiff, it's hard, almost impossible to cut and then once you cut it, you can't just strip it like normal - you have to cut it parallel to the wire and literally peel it off. Horrible. I'd hate to have to do a full...

SOLD FS: HiFonics Centurion X - $110 OBO

Somebody needs to buy this amp! Seriously! What year is it? The one I had was a '98. It survived 4 different setups in 3 different vehicles. It's first life was in an '88 Toyota pickup powering a pair of old school 12" MA Audio's with aluminum cones. That was when I lived in NC and that...

    Monster speaker wire

I picked up a few feet of the stuff at Ultimate Electronics just because I needed something to run a ground wire. That stuff is **** near impossible to strip! What a pain in the ass!

    2x 10" Type R or 2x 12" Type S?

Neither. The Type S doesn't get very loud and IMO the Type R doesn't sound very good.

    SQ on the cheap

If your goal is SQ, why in the hell did you go with a Type R?! I know they get loud, but for SQ, they shouldn't make the list... ever.
