My buddy and I have had great luck with Memphis amplifiers! They never overheat even in the ridiculously hot and humid St. Louis summers. The MC1.1100 is what you'd be looking for. Might be a little out of your price range brand new but you should be able to find one on ebay for a decent price!

I decided to throw my 3512 in my old idmax box to see what it sounds like.. In a box not made for this sub it sounds suprisingly great, and it hurts my ears when i crank it...i'm only sending it 500 watts I can just imagine what this sub can do with a proper box and 1200 watts:eek:
