    Subwoofer problems

Okay as I've said I'm pretty sure the power wire is fine as it I'm getting good readings from it, it's the remote thats dropping for some reason. I'll show you anyway though but it's only a power cable coming off the battery, fuse in a plastic casing, then goes through the factory rubber grommet...

    Subwoofer problems

The sub and and amp aren't the problem, as I said I've literally taken it all from one car where it worked perfectly, and put it in another where it doesn't. I believe the power and earth wire is 10 gauge with the remote wire being 18 guage. I am from the UK. I dont know the exact model numbers...

    Subwoofer problems

No, if anything i think it's the other way round the voltage is 12V when parked, but when I start moving the power light flickers if the sub is on over a certain volume. I assume it's drawing too much power for the car to handle. But doesn't really make much sense seeing as its a 200W amp on a...

    Subwoofer problems

I haven't tested it whilst playing as I don't have anyone else to do it whilst I'm driving.

    Subwoofer problems

Turns out it wasn't the problem, I just didn't turn the system up loud enough. Still happening. I've completely rewired everything I've messed with to what you said. The power cable and remote wire and ground are fine and read perfect voltages. Honestly I completely and utterly lost for what to...

    Subwoofer problems

Yes I've sorted it thanks, turns out it was all just a bad ground, was only reading 6V for some reason ffs. Alot of time wasted but atleast I got there in the end lol

    Subwoofer problems

I've reverted the system back to a standard wiring. RCA cables from the sub out on the hu, everything else is standard other than the messy connections from where i'd cut the wires

    Subwoofer problems

Hi, I have a 2005 ford fiesta mk6, 5 dr, 5x7 door speaker in each door, with a 1000w JBL subwoofer with a 200w nikkai amp connected to it. I have just transferred my system over from my old car which was the exact same that had an engine failure. Anyway, since transferring I have had a strange...

    HELP MEEE PLEASE

As I said, forget the actual audio wiring as that isn't the problem, I have the power cable running from the battery to the amp,and also the remote turn on from the hu. The amp is 2 channel I believe. I'll try get some pictures of the sub and amp when I next get a chance

    HELP MEEE PLEASE

Btw I fixed the door speakers, the wires has somehow just fallen out both the speakers at the exact same time for some reason.

    HELP MEEE PLEASE

Ok, ignore the audio wiring for the moment. For some reason when I drive, the sub stops working, when I move slowly it cuts in and out and the faster I go it gets worse before cutting out. This isn't always true as sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. When the engine is on at standstill the...
