A bandpass would take up more then half the trunk. I've build two of them in the past, I love that sound but I need the trunk space.

I have a 2003 civic and I want to put 1 W7 in there. It would be in a sealed box and on the right side of the trunk, with speaker facing left. Would it be beneficial at all to armor the trunk,back of the backseat, and lid with MDF, then PUT A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BACKSEAT (for a port)...
