I just dont like it and get used to old-style ipod software. Maybe someone has a custom firmware for it? no?

hi guys, I have alpine head unit and I'm not quite satisfied with ipod navigation integrated there. And everytime I plug in my ipod alpine intercepts the control and block the input within the device. I wonder if there's any chance I can reprogram my iDA to leave the apple control to itself?
