What are the ups and downs of going with 2 sealed 10" IDQ's as opposed to two sealed 12" IDQ's in a SQ with some SPL install?

The sub I'm looking at comes in 2- and 4- ohm versions. My amp can handle 2 ohms. Is the idea to get the lowest ohm sub that your amp can handle? Is there any downside to getting the lower ohm one? SQ the same?

Because they match the look of my existing amp. I'll probably go with one of those, but I'm open to other ideas. Also, they can't be any taller than about 2 inches.
